The Big Blue (Le Grand Bleu) Limited Edition Steelbook (UK Import) [4K Ultra HD + Region B Blu-ray]

The Big Blue Steelbook 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray is Luc Besson's visually stunning and emotionally powerful underwater epic, presented in a new 4K restoration. Inspired by the lives of legendary freedivers Jacques Mayol and Enzo Maiorca, the film blends friendship, obsession, romance and adventure into one of the most celebrated European productions of the 1980s.

Childhood friends Jacques and Enzo reunite years later as rivals in the dangerous world of competitive freediving. As each man pushes further beyond human limits in pursuit of new records, their friendship evolves into an increasingly intense competition that draws them deeper into the ocean and closer to the edge of human endurance. Meanwhile, Jacques struggles to balance his extraordinary connection to the sea with his growing relationship on land.

Featuring breathtaking underwater cinematography, a memorable score by Éric Serra and standout performances from Jean Reno, Jean-Marc Barr and Rosanna Arquette, The Big Blue remains one of Luc Besson's most acclaimed and visually striking films.
