The Camp On Blood Island Blu-ray presents one of Hammer’s most controversial wartime dramas in a high definition remaster. Directed by Val Guest, the film depicts the brutal conditions endured by Allied prisoners in a Japanese POW camp in Malaya during the final days of the Second World War.

Criticised at the time for its stark and uncompromising tone, the film remains notable for its raw intensity, naturalistic direction and strong performances from a cast led by André Morell and Barbara Shelley.
