The Corruptor [4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray]

The Corruptor 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray presents James Foley’s 1999 action thriller newly restored in 4K from the original camera negative. Chow Yun-Fat stars as NYPD Lieutenant Nick Chen, head of the Asian Gang Unit in Manhattan’s Chinatown, whose ties to local triads blur the line between law enforcement and the criminal world.

When idealistic rookie detective Danny Wallace, played by Mark Wahlberg, is assigned as Chen’s new partner, the two are pulled into a brutal turf war between established Tong factions and the rising Fukienese Dragons. As the violence escalates, Chen and Wallace must navigate loyalty, corruption, survival and the badge.

Stylish, hard-edged and packed with 1990s action-thriller energy, The Corruptor pairs Chow Yun-Fat’s Hong Kong cinema presence with Mark Wahlberg in a story of crime, betrayal and moral compromise. This 2-disc release includes a new 4K restoration, new interviews, archival commentary, making-of featurette, music video, trailer, TV spots and slipcover packaging.
