The Dark: Collector's Edition [Blu-ray]

The Dark Blu-ray collector’s edition resurrects the 1979 cult sci-fi horror hybrid in a newly restored HD presentation. When a string of brutal nighttime murders grips Los Angeles, a writer, a TV reporter and a police detective each begin to investigate—only to uncover signs that the killer, known as “The Mangler,” may not be human at all. As the attacks intensify, the trio pieces together a conspiracy stranger and more terrifying than anything they expected. Directed by John “Bud” Cardos and featuring William Devane, Cathy Lee Crosby, Richard Jaeckel, Keenan Wynn and Casey Kasem, this atmospheric late-70s shocker returns with commentaries, interviews and archival extras.
