The Dead Thing [Blu-ray]

The Dead Thing Blu-ray presents a darkly intimate horror romance that explores loneliness, desire, and obsession through a modern genre lens. A young woman adrift in a series of hollow connections finds herself drawn to a charismatic and emotionally perceptive man, only to discover that his carefully concealed secret transforms attraction into something far more dangerous. As the relationship deepens, intimacy curdles into fixation, and love becomes a conduit for psychological terror. Directed by Elric Kane, the film unfolds as a slow-burn descent into emotional vulnerability, manipulation, and obsession.

This release includes a special limited edition slipcover designed by Trevor Henderson, strictly limited to 1,000 units. Released under the Shudder banner, The Dead Thing reflects the platform’s curator-driven approach to contemporary horror, pairing auteur storytelling with a strong slate of supplemental features.
