The Game Of Clones: Bruceploitation Collection Volume 1 [Blu-ray]

The Game of Clones: Bruceploitation Collection Volume 1 Blu-ray assembles the definitive restoration of one of the wildest subgenres ever created. Born in the shadow of Bruce Lee’s death, Bruceploitation unleashed a decade-long wave of lookalikes, martial artists and filmmakers tasked with recreating Lee’s image for a global audience hungry for more. This set gathers twelve films starring icons such as Bruce Li, Bruce Le, Dragon Lee and Bruce Liang, each capturing a different facet of the post-Lee cinematic frenzy — from delirious fantasy to gritty tournament action to outright surreal parody. Also included is Enter the Clones of Bruce, the award-winning documentary that traces the entire phenomenon through candid interviews with surviving performers, producers, historians and martial arts legends. Restored from original elements and packaged with over twenty-three hours of special features, this collection offers the deepest, most expansive look ever assembled at a movement that continues to influence action cinema around the world.
