The Great Alligator [4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray]

The Great Alligator 4K Ultra HD unleashes one of Italian exploitation cinema’s most outrageous creature features in its worldwide UHD premiere, newly restored from the original camera negative. Directed by Sergio Martino, this jungle-set shocker blends EuroCult excess, eco-horror chaos, and full-scale killer reptile mayhem. At the opening of a luxury tropical resort, a photographer, an anthropologist, and an arrogant hotelier find themselves trapped between hostile locals, oblivious tourists, and a massive river alligator with a deadly appetite.

Starring Barbara Bach, Claudio Cassinelli, and Mel Ferrer, The Great Alligator stands as a prime example of post-Jaws Italian nature-amok cinema, balancing pulpy spectacle with relentless creature-feature thrills. Co-written by George Eastman and Ernesto Gastaldi, the film has earned cult status among fans of jungle carnage, killer animal films, and late-1970s exploitation excess. This edition delivers the film in UHD for the first time ever, accompanied by over two hours of in-depth special features.
