The Informant! (US Import) [4K Ultra HD]

Agribusiness executive Mark Whitacre surprises the FBI by offering to expose an international price-fixing scheme at his company. Eager to play the hero, he records colleagues and imagines a future in which his cooperation earns admiration rather than suspicion. His handlers soon discover that their enthusiastic witness has omitted some important details about his own activities. As Mark’s explanations become harder to untangle, a major corporate investigation begins to resemble an elaborate comedy of deception. Matt Damon leads Steven Soderbergh’s offbeat, fact-based satire, with Scott Bakula and Joel McHale as the increasingly bewildered federal agents trying to separate evidence from invention.
