The Key [2 Disc Edition] [4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray]

The Key 4K Ultra HD presents Tinto Brass’ most celebrated erotic drama in a lavish 2-disc edition, newly restored from the original camera negative. Set in Venice during World War II, the film follows art professor Nino, who records his deepest desires and fantasies in a private diary, deliberately leaving the key where his younger wife Teresa can find it. As the boundaries between confession, voyeurism, and obsession dissolve, Brass transforms Junichiro Tanizaki’s provocative novel into a lush, deeply sensual exploration of power, desire, and erotic self-discovery.

Widely regarded as one of the finest erotic arthouse films ever made, The Key is anchored by Stefania Sandrelli’s fearless performance and enhanced by Ennio Morricone’s seductive, unforgettable score. This definitive 4K release from Cult Epics brings together extensive new and archival supplements, making it an essential edition for collectors of European arthouse and erotic cinema.
