The Last Mistress [Blu-ray]

The Last Mistress Blu-ray presents Catherine Breillat’s provocative adaptation of a scandalous 19th-century novel, brought to life with fierce sensuality and emotional volatility. Teaming with Asia Argento in one of her most iconic performances, Breillat crafts a torrid tale of desire, jealousy, and social hypocrisy. As a former libertine prepares to marry into aristocratic respectability, his obsessive former lover refuses to relinquish her claim, haunting salons and whispered gossip alike. Bold, confrontational, and unapologetically carnal, The Last Mistress stands as a defining work in Breillat’s fearless exploration of power, sexuality, and female agency.

This release arrives as a special limited edition featuring a slipcover designed by Jillian Adel, strictly limited to 1,000 units. Issued by IFC Films in partnership with OCN Distribution, the Blu-ray represents a premium HD presentation of a modern European classic, supported by newly produced critical supplements and exclusive packaging.
