The Last Starfighter Standard Edition [4K Ultra HD]

The Last Starfighter Standard Edition 4K Ultra HD brings Nick Castle’s beloved 1984 sci-fi adventure to Dolby Vision in a new 4K restoration from the original camera negative. A pioneering blend of heart, humour and early CGI spectacle, this fan-favourite classic remains one of the most enduring space fantasies of the 1980s.

Alex Rogan (Lance Guest) is an arcade whiz-kid stuck in a small-town trailer park—until he masters a mysterious game that turns out to be a recruitment test for an interstellar defence force. Whisked into deep space, Alex must pilot a real starfighter against the tyrannical Ko-Dan Empire and prove he has what it takes to save the galaxy. Featuring the legendary Robert Preston in his final film role, The Last Starfighter mixes cosmic adventure with an irresistible coming-of-age spirit.

Presented with its original 4.1 audio mix created for the 70mm release, this Arrow Video edition delivers the ultimate home presentation of a cult sci-fi milestone.
