The Men of Sherwood Forest 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray presents Hammer’s first colour feature and their first venture into the legend of Robin Hood, newly restored in 4K from the original negatives. Directed with energy by Val Guest and starring Don Taylor, this Eastmancolor swashbuckler bursts with pageantry, intrigue, and a rousing score by Doreen Carwithen.

Set in 1194, as Richard the Lionheart languishes in captivity and Prince John plots to seize the throne, Robin Hood finds himself framed for the murder of a royal courier carrying plans for the king’s return. What follows is a spirited adventure of loyalty, deception, and rebellion in Sherwood Forest, anchored by a distinguished cast of British character actors.
