The Nightcomers (UK Import) [4K Ultra HD]

The Nightcomers 4K Ultra HD presents Michael Winner’s provocative gothic thriller, featuring a commanding performance from Marlon Brando as the sinister Peter Quint. Conceived as a prequel to Henry James’ The Turn of the Screw, the film explores the psychological and moral decay that precedes the events of the classic novella.

After the death of their parents, Flora and Miles are placed under the care of governess Miss Jessel and housekeeper Mrs Grose. But it is Quint, the estate’s manipulative and magnetic servant, who exerts a corrupting influence over the household. As a dangerous and destructive relationship develops between Quint and Miss Jessel, the children are drawn ever deeper into his disturbing orbit.

Atmospheric, unsettling and erotically charged, The Nightcomers remains a bold and controversial entry in British horror cinema.
