The Old Dark House 4K Ultra HD presents James Whale's beloved horror classic in a stunning 4K restoration with Dolby Vision HDR. Directed by the filmmaker behind Frankenstein and The Invisible Man, this atmospheric pre-Code masterpiece combines suspense, dark humour and gothic horror in one of the most influential genre films of the 1930s.

Caught in a violent storm while travelling through rural Wales, a group of strangers seek shelter in an isolated mansion occupied by the eccentric and deeply unsettling Femm family. As the night progresses, strange behaviour, long-buried secrets and a dangerous presence lurking within the house transform their refuge into a nightmare from which escape may be impossible.

Featuring an outstanding cast including Boris Karloff, Melvyn Douglas, Gloria Stuart and Charles Laughton, The Old Dark House remains one of the defining examples of early horror cinema and a cornerstone of the "old dark house" genre.
