The Perros Callejeros Trilogy Blu-ray presents José Antonio de la Loma’s landmark Spanish Cine Quinqui trilogy in a 3-disc region free release from Severin Films. Scanned in 4K from the original camera negatives and presented with English subtitles for the first time in North America, this collection brings together Perros Callejeros, Perros Callejeros II and Los últimos golpes de El Torete.

FILMS INCLUDED

Perros Callejeros (1977)

Ángel Fernández Franco stars as El Torete, a charismatic young delinquent navigating the streets of post-Franco Spain. Recognized as one of the defining works of Cine Quinqui, the film helped establish the genre’s mix of crime drama, social realism and raw urban energy.

Perros Callejeros II (1979)

El Torete returns to a harsher world of robberies, prison and revenge, as the pressures around him grow more dangerous and the line between survival and self-destruction becomes harder to escape.

Los últimos golpes de El Torete (1980)

In the final chapter, El Torete joins forces with the notorious El Vaquilla, turning outlaw notoriety into a strange form of pop culture fame while the violence and consequences around them continue to escalate.

A major trilogy of Spanish crime cinema, The Perros Callejeros Trilogy captures the social unrest, youth rebellion and street-level desperation of the Cine Quinqui movement. This 3-disc collection includes all three films, 4+ hours of special features, interviews, archival materials, trailers and English subtitles.
