The Prestige Limited Edition Steelbook (UK Import) [4K Ultra HD + Region B Blu-ray]

The Prestige 4K Ultra HD presents Christopher Nolan’s dark, meticulously constructed tale of obsession, rivalry, and illusion in a premium limited steelbook edition. Set in Victorian London at the height of the stage magic craze, the film follows two rival illusionists whose professional competition spirals into personal destruction.

Robert Angier is a charismatic showman obsessed with applause and spectacle, while Alfred Borden is a secretive, fiercely committed craftsman who values perfection over praise. Once collaborators, the two men become bitter enemies after a tragic accident, driving each other toward increasingly dangerous acts of deception. As their rivalry intensifies, the cost of their ambition extends far beyond the stage, leaving lives shattered in its wake.

Adapted from the novel by Christopher Priest and directed by Christopher Nolan, The Prestige stands as one of Nolan’s most emotionally complex and structurally daring films, blending period drama with psychological thriller and moral parable. Anchored by powerhouse performances from Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale, the film explores sacrifice, identity, and the devastating price of devotion to one’s art.
