At Pine Hollow Stables, Stevie, Carole and Lisa discover that their love of horses can turn three very different girls into close friends. Together they form the Saddle Club, promising to support one another through riding lessons, competitions and the everyday pressures of growing up. Caring for horses demands patience and responsibility, while rivalries, family problems and first romances test the promises they make. Success in the saddle is only part of the adventure. As the girls learn to face disappointment and celebrate each other's achievements, their friendship becomes a source of courage both inside the stable yard and beyond.
