The Salute Of The Jugger AKA Blood of Heroes (Australian Import) [4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray]

The Salute Of The Jugger 4K Ultra HD delivers David Webb Peoples’ brutal dystopian sports epic in a brand new HDR restoration overseen by director of photography David Eggby. Also known in the United States as Blood of Heroes, this cult classic stands shoulder to shoulder with Rollerball and Mad Max as one of the most ferocious visions of future-sport cinema.

Set in a lawless wasteland where society has collapsed, “Jugging” is the ultimate test of endurance and violence. After years in exile, legendary player Sallow is drawn back into the arena, leading a scrappy team of outsiders in a relentless climb toward glory. Joined by Kidda and Young Gar, they face savage opponents in a game where every match risks shattered bones and certain death.

This definitive Umbrella release restores the original 104-minute cut to its full power and includes multiple alternate versions, offering the most complete presentation of The Salute Of The Jugger ever assembled.
