The School Duel [Blu-ray]

The School Duel Blu-ray presents a provocative dystopian thriller that blends political satire with a chilling vision of near-future America.

In a world where gun control has been abolished, a controversial new program is introduced: a televised, state-sanctioned fight-to-the-death competition between students. Drawn in by promises of purpose and recognition, a troubled teenager volunteers against his mother’s wishes, only to discover the brutal reality behind the spectacle as it unfolds.

Marking the debut feature from Todd Wiseman Jr., the film delivers a stark and unsettling commentary on violence, media and manipulation, anchored by a strong central performance and an unflinching premise.
