The Serpent's Skin Limited Edition [Blu-ray]

The Serpent's Skin LE Blu-ray is a stylish blend of supernatural horror, dark fantasy and queer romance from Australian filmmaker Alice Maio Mackay. Combining occult terror with themes of identity, acceptance and found family, the film continues Mackay's growing reputation as one of the most distinctive voices in independent genre cinema.

After fleeing a hostile hometown, Anna begins building a new life and soon forms a connection with Gen, a goth tattoo artist whose creative work is tied to mysterious supernatural forces. As their relationship grows, an unexpected mistake unleashes something far more dangerous than either anticipated. What follows is a tale of romance, self-discovery and demonic chaos that balances heartfelt character drama with imaginative horror elements.

Driven by atmospheric visuals, a strong ensemble cast and Mackay's unique perspective on genre storytelling, The Serpent's Skin explores transformation in more ways than one. Equal parts horror story and coming-of-age journey, it offers a fresh take on supernatural cinema while celebrating resilience, community and the power of embracing who you truly are.
