The Shark Hunter [Blu-ray]

The Shark Hunter Blu-ray delivers the worldwide disc premiere of Enzo G. Castellari’s high-octane sharksploitation oddity, newly scanned in 4K from the only surviving film elements and paired with a bonus soundtrack CD. Reuniting Castellari with his Street Law and Keoma star Franco Nero, the film barrels through sun-scorched action, brutal underwater stunts, and pulpy Italian excess with fearless momentum.

Set in a Mexican seaside village, a reclusive fisherman with a haunted past is pulled into a violent treasure hunt when ruthless mercenaries descend on a submerged grotto holding $100 million — and guarded by killer sharks. As greed escalates into bloodshed, fists fly, harpoons strike, and the ocean becomes a battleground. Featuring outrageous underwater sequences by Ramón Bravo and an infectious score by Guido and Maurizio De Angelis, The Shark Hunter stands as a uniquely aggressive blend of action cinema and sharksploitation spectacle.

This Blu-ray edition includes the first-ever on-camera reunion between Castellari and Nero, along with interviews, trailers, and the complete soundtrack on CD, making it the definitive presentation of a cult favorite that roars with weird audacity.
