The Shrouds (UK Import) [4K Ultra HD]

The Shrouds 4K Ultra HD brings David Cronenberg’s haunting return to body horror to collectors in a near-future meditation on grief, technology, and human connection. Blending cerebral science fiction with deeply personal themes, Cronenberg explores how loss reshapes both the body and the mind.

Karsh (Vincent Cassel), a grieving entrepreneur, develops a controversial technology that allows the living to observe the decomposition of their buried loved ones in real time. Still struggling with the death of his wife (Diane Kruger), Karsh becomes increasingly consumed by both his invention and his grief.

When a series of graves using the technology are mysteriously vandalized, Karsh is drawn into a disturbing investigation that reveals a deeper conspiracy tied to his creation. As reality fractures and obsession takes hold, The Shrouds unfolds as a chilling and intimate exploration of mortality in the digital age.
