The Stranger Within [Blu-ray]

The Stranger Within Blu-ray presents Lee Philips’ unsettling 1974 made-for-television blend of science fiction and horror, written by Richard Matheson and newly restored in 2K from the original 35mm interpositive.

Ann Collins discovers she is unexpectedly pregnant despite her husband David having undergone a vasectomy years earlier. As the pregnancy progresses at an unnatural rate, Ann develops increasingly strange behaviours, including consuming enormous amounts of coffee and salt, rapidly reading books and disappearing from home at night.

As David, their doctor and friends struggle to understand what is happening, Ann seems to become increasingly controlled by the unborn child growing inside her. Starring Barbara Eden, George Grizzard, Joyce Van Patten, David Doyle and Nehemiah Persoff, The Stranger Within arrives on Blu-ray for the first time with extensive new supplements.
