The Stylist Standard Edition [Blu-ray]

The Stylist Blu-ray presents a darkly obsessive, female-led psychological horror that turns loneliness and envy into something far more dangerous. Based on co-writer and director Jill Gevargizian’s acclaimed short film, The Stylist follows Claire, a socially isolated hairstylist whose desire to be someone else manifests in a secret life of murder and scalp collecting. By day she listens quietly to clients’ dreams and anxieties, but by night her fixation becomes lethal.

When her confident, seemingly perfect client Olivia asks her to style her hair for an upcoming wedding, Claire’s fragile world begins to fracture. As her envy deepens, Claire vows to suppress her violent urges and reinvent herself, only to learn that denying who you are can be more destructive than embracing it. Featuring striking visual design and a chilling central performance by Najarra Townsend, The Stylist Blu-ray delivers an unnerving portrait of social anxiety, obsession and identity that marks Jill Gevargizian as a filmmaker to watch.
