The Terror/The Little Shop Of Horrors Double Feature [Blu-ray]

The Terror / The Little Shop Of Horrors Double Feature Blu-ray pairs two distinct sides of Roger Corman, showcasing both his gothic horror sensibilities and his offbeat cult comedy style.

The Terror (1963) follows a French soldier, played by Jack Nicholson, whose encounter with a mysterious woman leads him to a shadowy castle ruled by a sinister nobleman portrayed by Boris Karloff. Steeped in atmosphere, the film blends supernatural intrigue with classic gothic horror elements.

The Little Shop of Horrors (1960) shifts tone completely, telling the story of a hapless florist’s assistant who cultivates a strange plant with a dangerous appetite. Featuring early appearances by Jack Nicholson and Dick Miller, the film has become a defining cult classic for its dark humour and low-budget ingenuity.

Together, these films highlight Corman’s versatility, moving from eerie castle corridors to chaotic comedy while maintaining a signature DIY filmmaking spirit.
