The Thingy: Confessions of A Teenage Placenta Blu-ray presents a bizarre coming-of-age horror comedy about a living placenta raised as an ordinary human.

Growing up within the expectations of family, religion and society, Thingy is taught to live as a Christian before eventually becoming a soldier. What follows is an increasingly surreal journey through identity, belonging and the strange expectations placed upon him.

Directed by Joel Rabijns and Yves Sondermeier, The Thingy: Confessions of A Teenage Placenta embraces absurdist humour, body horror and unconventional independent filmmaking.
