The War Wagon [4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray]

The War Wagon 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray presents Burt Kennedy’s 1967 Western adventure starring John Wayne and Kirk Douglas, newly presented from a 4K scan of the 35mm original camera negative with a brand new HDR/Dolby Vision master. Packed with action, humour and classic Old West payback, the film teams two Hollywood legends for a high-stakes gold heist.

Taw Jackson is a hardened rancher out to reclaim what was stolen from him by a corrupt cattle baron. His target is the War Wagon, an ironclad stagecoach carrying a fortune in gold and protected by a heavily armed crew.

To pull off the impossible robbery, Jackson recruits the brash gunslinger Lomax and a rowdy band of misfits. With John Wayne in a rare anti-hero role and Kirk Douglas matching him beat for beat, The War Wagon delivers a rousing Western tale of revenge, gold and outlaw teamwork.
