Triumph of the Will [Blu-ray]

Triumph of the Will Blu-ray presents one of the most historically significant and controversial documentaries ever produced. Directed by Leni Riefenstahl, the film documents the 1934 Nazi Party Congress in Nuremberg and remains a major subject of study for film historians due to its groundbreaking filmmaking techniques and its role as political propaganda.

Using large-scale staging, innovative camera movements and carefully constructed imagery, Riefenstahl created a film that would influence documentary and propaganda filmmaking for decades. While widely recognized for its technical achievements, Triumph of the Will is inseparable from its purpose as a propaganda film for the Nazi regime and is frequently examined within historical, political and cinematic contexts.

This Kino Classics edition features a restoration by the German Federal Archives and includes additional historical materials that provide further context to Riefenstahl's work and the era in which it was created.
