Troma's War [Blu-ray]

Troma's War Blu-ray presents Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz’s 1988 action satire, combining war-movie spectacle with Troma’s signature mix of gore, comedy and political absurdity.

After a group of ordinary Tromaville citizens becomes stranded in hostile territory, they discover a terrorist army whose plans threaten far more than their own survival. With nowhere else to turn, the unlikely group is forced to become a makeshift fighting force.

Packed with exaggerated battle scenes, stunts, special effects and deliberately outrageous characters, Troma's War parodies the era’s large-scale combat films while turning everyday civilians into unlikely action heroes.
