Two Prosecutors [Blu-ray]

Two Prosecutors Blu-ray is a gripping political thriller from acclaimed filmmaker Sergei Loznitsa. Set during the height of Stalin's Great Purge, this chilling and meticulously crafted drama explores corruption, paranoia and the devastating consequences of unchecked power within a totalitarian system.

Summoned with a blood-written note smuggled out of a prison block, an idealistic Soviet prosecutor pushes past the jail's leery authorities to interview an elderly, broken-down Bolshevik condemned as a political undesirable. Determined to expose this miscarriage of justice to authorities in Moscow, the young attorney soon finds his efforts stymied as an ever-tightening net of suspicion encircles his investigation.

Drenched in the atmosphere of Stalin's police state, Sergei Loznitsa's acclaimed drama is a tense, Kafkaesque examination of bureaucracy, fear and the impunity of power.
