Undine Limited Edition [Blu-ray]

Undine LE Blu-ray is a captivating reimagining of one of Europe's oldest myths from acclaimed German filmmaker Christian Petzold. Taking the legend of the water spirit Undine and placing it within contemporary Berlin, Petzold crafts a film that exists somewhere between romance, mystery and modern fairy tale, where ancient folklore quietly seeps into everyday life.

Undine works as a city historian whose carefully ordered world is shattered by heartbreak. When she unexpectedly falls in love with industrial diver Christoph, their relationship unfolds with an intensity that feels both deeply human and strangely fated. As the pair grow closer, the boundaries between myth and reality begin to dissolve, revealing that the old legends may hold more truth than either of them realizes.

Elegant, haunting and emotionally resonant, Undine showcases the remarkable chemistry between Paula Beer and Franz Rogowski while demonstrating why Petzold remains one of contemporary cinema's most distinctive voices. Blending romance, fantasy and psychological drama with effortless precision, the film transforms a centuries-old legend into something timeless and completely modern.
