Up The Junction (1968) Limited Edition (Australian Import) [Blu-ray]

Up The Junction (1968) Limited Edition Blu-ray presents Peter Collinson’s 1968 British drama in an Australian import region free release. Based on one of the defining stories of 1960s British culture, the film stars Suzy Kendall as Polly, a wealthy young woman who rejects her privileged background for a different life in Clapham Junction.

Polly moves into a small flat, takes a job on a factory floor and begins forming new friendships and relationships outside the world she came from. But as her romantic idea of working-class life meets harsher reality, the film becomes a sharp portrait of class, independence and disillusionment.

Directed by Peter Collinson and starring Suzy Kendall, Dennis Waterman, Adrienne Posta and Maureen Lipman, Up The Junction captures the energy and social tensions of late-1960s Britain. This Limited Edition Blu-ray includes a 1080p presentation, new commentary, new interview, English 5.1 and LPCM 2.0 audio, English HOH subtitles and limited edition packaging.
