After ten years together, Hugh and Struan face a change neither has prepared for in Valhalla Dreams. The death of Struan’s mother brings his father, Gerry, into their home, where his long-standing dislike of Hugh unsettles the couple’s life. At the same time, Struan has returned to drug use without telling his partner.
Nat Thompson directs Christopher Bourne’s drama about bereavement, addiction and the strain of trying to help someone you love. Christopher Clarke plays Hugh, Joe Street plays Struan, and Brian Goredema-Braid plays Gerry, placing the tension between partner, son and father at the centre of the story. This BayView Blu-ray includes English audio and English SDH captions.
