Viridiana [4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray]

Viridiana 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray presents Luis Buñuel’s most audacious masterpiece in a stunning new restoration. Banned in Spain and condemned by the Vatican upon release, the film follows novice nun Viridiana as her sincere devotion collides with hypocrisy, cruelty, and desire when she attempts to impose charity and moral order on a world resistant to both. Winner of the Palme d’Or at Cannes in 1961, Buñuel’s razor-sharp satire dismantles religious idealism and bourgeois virtue with shocking humour and unflinching provocation, remaining as transgressive and vital today as ever.
