Warm Water Under a Red Bridge Limited Edition (UK Import) [Region B Blu-ray]

Warm Water Under a Red Bridge LE Blu-ray presents the final feature film from acclaimed Japanese director Shohei Imamura, a boldly sensual and unconventional love story starring Koji Yakusho.

After the death of a friend, unemployed salaryman Yosuke (Koji Yakusho, Perfect Days) sets out on a strange quest to locate a hidden treasure. His only clue leads him to a quiet coastal town and a mysterious house beside a red bridge. Instead of riches, Yosuke discovers a woman whose extraordinary secret will transform his life in ways he never imagined.

Reuniting key collaborators from his Palme d’Or-winning film The Eel, Imamura’s final work blends romance, folklore and surreal humour into a provocative and deeply human meditation on desire, loneliness and rediscovery.
