Where’s Officer Tuba? Limited Edition Blu-ray presents Philip Chan and Ricky Lau’s 1986 Hong Kong supernatural action comedy from 88 Films. Starring Sammo Hung, David Chiang and Jacky Cheung, the film blends ghostly chaos, police comedy and Hong Kong action energy.
Tuba is a timid police officer more interested in music than dangerous assignments. When a mission goes wrong, he witnesses the death of decorated officer Chow, who makes Tuba promise to avenge him. But when Tuba fails to follow through, Chow returns as a ghost and pulls him into a wild supernatural investigation.
Funny, fast-moving and packed with mayhem, Where’s Officer Tuba? is a lively Hong Kong action-comedy built around Sammo Hung’s comic timing and physical energy. This limited edition Blu-ray includes a 2K restoration from the original negative, Cantonese audio, English dub, commentary, trailers, image gallery, reversible sleeve and O-ring slipcase.
