Witness [Limited Edition] (UK Import) [4K Ultra HD]

Witness 4K Ultra HD presents Peter Weir’s quietly powerful neo-noir thriller in a stunning new restoration that highlights the film’s tension between modern violence and traditional isolation. When an Amish boy becomes the sole witness to a brutal murder in Philadelphia, hardened detective John Book is forced to hide within a close-knit Amish community to protect the child and his widowed mother. As danger closes in, Book finds himself torn between duty and a forbidden connection that threatens to upend both worlds.

Anchored by a career-best performance from Harrison Ford, which earned him an Academy Award nomination, Witness balances suspense, romance, and cultural observation with remarkable restraint. Kelly McGillis and Lukas Haas deliver deeply human performances, while Weir’s direction and John Seale’s cinematography give the film its unmistakable atmosphere. Arrow Video’s limited edition restores Witness in 4K Ultra HD and surrounds it with an extensive slate of archival and newly produced extras that explore its performances, production history, and lasting legacy.
