X The Unknown LE UK Import 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray marks the long-awaited 4K debut of this classic Hammer science-horror film, often considered the unofficial companion to the Quatermass series.

When a soldier dies from unexplained radiation poisoning, an investigation leads to the discovery of a mysterious, radioactive entity lurking beneath the earth’s surface. As the deadly force begins to rise and consume everything in its path, scientists must confront a threat that cannot be reasoned with—or even fully understood.

Blending Cold War paranoia with classic British sci-fi horror, X The Unknown remains a tense and atmospheric entry in Hammer’s early genre output.

directed by: Leslie Norman
starring: Dean Jagger, Edward Chapman, Leo McKern
1956 / 80 min / 1.37:1 / English
