Xtro (UK Import) [Blu-ray]

Xtro Blu-ray delivers one of the most notorious and unhinged cult horror experiences of the 1980s. Directed by Harry Bromley Davenport, this surreal sci-fi shocker blends alien abduction, grotesque body horror, and nightmarish domestic paranoia into a film that feels closer to a fever dream than conventional genre cinema. Best remembered for its infamous “alien birth” sequence and relentlessly strange tone, Xtro earned a lasting reputation as a video-store legend that pushed audiences far outside their comfort zones.

Part creature feature, part psychological horror, and part pure exploitation weirdness, Xtro thrives on unpredictability. Its abrupt tonal shifts, unsettling imagery, and refusal to explain itself place it firmly in cult territory, where it has remained a must-see for fans of extreme and unconventional horror. This UK import Blu-ray presents the film in a new restoration with extensive special features exploring its production, legacy, and continued cult status.
