Yakuza Graveyard [Standard Edition] [Blu-ray]

Yakuza Graveyard Blu-ray captures director Kinji Fukasaku at the peak of his ferocious, morally corrosive crime cinema. When hard-edged detective Kuroiwa (Tetsuya Watari) falls for the wife of an imprisoned yakuza boss, his life begins to unravel. In a world where the boundary between police and organised crime is deliberately blurred, Kuroiwa is pushed into the middle of a brutal gang war after his superiors back rival factions for their own gain. Co-starring the legendary Meiko Kaji and featuring filmmaker Nagisa Oshima in a rare acting role, Yakuza Graveyard is a raw, volatile descent into obsession, corruption, and violence, standing as one of Fukasaku’s most uncompromising works following Battles Without Honour and Humanity.
