Yi Yi [4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray]

Yi Yi 4K Ultra HD presents Edward Yang’s quietly monumental portrait of a Taipei family observed over the course of a single year, beginning with a wedding and ending with a funeral. Moving fluidly between generations, Yang follows middle-aged father NJ as he reconnects with a former love, teenage daughter Ting-Ting as she navigates guilt and first heartbreak, and young son Yang-Yang as he photographs the world from angles adults never see. With extraordinary patience and emotional clarity, Yi Yi captures the small, intimate moments that define a life, building toward a deeply human meditation on memory, regret, and connection. Widely regarded as one of the great films of the twenty-first century, this intimate epic stands as Edward Yang’s most compassionate and enduring work.
