Zombie Island Massacre Blu-ray unleashes a sun-scorched slice of early ’80s slasher horror set against the deceptively lush backdrop of the Caribbean. What begins as a carefree vacation for a group of American tourists turns deadly when their tour bus breaks down, leaving them stranded in the jungle and hunted one by one by a voodoo mask-wearing killer. As decapitations, impalements, and brutal ambushes pile up, paranoia sets in and the survivors realize the threat may not only be lurking in the wilderness—but among them. Featuring an ominous score by genre legend Harry Manfredini (Friday the 13th), Zombie Island Massacre Blu-ray captures the sleazy, sun-drenched grindhouse energy of regional ’80s horror and marks the feature debut of editor-turned-director John Carter.
